Match Review ACLTwo MD4 Group H | Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC 1-0 Selangor FC | Optimistic Despite Defeat In Korea

The match at Jeonju World Cup Stadium, Korea, between Selangor FC and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC in the AFC Champions League Two 2024/25 competition, ended with a 0-1 result yesterday.

Yesterday's match started with the home team taking the lead when their import player, Tiago Orobo managed to head in the ball in the 22nd minute. Selangor FC tried to equalise with nine attempts but were unsuccessful until the final whistle.

According to Selangor FC Interim Head Coach, Abdifitaah Hassan, the team needs to be more disciplined.

"At this level, we need to focus 100 percent. The goal happened because we conceded a goal through a set piece situation from a corner for Jeonbuk. We need to be more disciplined. In the second half, we tried to take more risks, so we had more opportunities and tried to close the gap but it didn't happen," he said..

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC lead Group H again with nine points, followed by the Red Giants in second place with seven points, then Muangthong United F.C. with five points and Cebu F.C. in fourth place with one point.

Selangor FC would also like to say a thousand thanks to the supporters who came to the Jeonju World Cup Stadium, Korea, yesterday. We greatly appreciate your support.
